Return of the Woombie - Part DOH!

We're going on Day 4 of Sleeping in the Woombie. The good news (well, great) is that her naps have gotten SO much better. She's sleeping at least an hour every time I put her down. Her normal BW (before woombie) was about 30-40 minutes. Yesterday, she slept for 2.5 hours for one of her naps. I thought I might have been in the Twilight Zone for a moment.

Ok, so the not so great news is that she's waking up at night. With her SwaddleMe, she would sleep pretty much all night except to eat around 6am, then she'd go back to sleep until 7:30-8. She's been waking about 2 times a night since we putt her in the Woombie. I try and comfort her, replace her paci and put on some music, but it just doesn't work all the time. So, she's been eating in the middle of the night for 3 nights.

My hopes are to try and just let her go free next week. I might need a stiff drink after its all over.

Just catching up! I'm so glad i have a way to keep up with you now :) So i was reading a couple entries and saw you're trying to get rid of swaddling Alex. I have never heard of babies wanting to be swaddled for that long, but why is it something you want to break right now? I'm just curious. I might be in your same position in a couple months and I could use all the info i can get! :) Good luck!!

Maybe the night time thing is a growth spurt? I remember a few weeks when David did the same thing - waking up and then wanting to eat. Hopefully it tapers off for you soon. We're still dealing with Ghosts over here - apparently there was an episode of Max and Ruby at grandma's with a ghost. Thanks a lot Nick Jr!
