I've been going back and forth on whether or not to buy cloth swim diapers since Olivia was 6 months old. But, I'm lazy and she's been wearing Pampers Splashers for 2 summers. Now that I have a 2nd little one, I finally decided to spend the money on a swim diaper that I could just wash and reuse all summer long.
After searching and asking questions, I bought 2 Thirsties diaper covers, which can be used for a normal swim diaper. Of course I had to get the cutest colors.
I got the Lavender for Alexandria in a size SMALL. The raspberry is for Olivia in a size LARGE. Olivia's is kinda big on her, but the weight was 28-48lbs which is a huge range. She's about 30lbs right now so I wanted to make sure that if she did gain more weight this summer, it would still fit her. HOPEFULLY, this will be the last summer she needs a diaper of any kind!
That is a whole other post though. :)

Yay for new fluff! Can you use Thirsties covers over a fitted or prefold as a swim diaper?
Oops, didn't know my computer was logged in under my husband's name ;)
Heather... you can use it just as is. No need to put a prefold in, just slap the cover on and you're good to go. Someone told me to put something in there anyways because the PUL can become sticky for little girls.
I love the look of your blog. Following you from our Bloggy Mom's fb group!
Hmmm, have you tried them yet? How'd they work? I heard CD had to be washed a special way, line dried, etc? I've thought about doing this for Lily but I just have so many questions. lol.
Heather...
I washed them with all their other clothes in warm water with clear/free detergent. Then I dried them outside. They're probably going to get pretty warn because of the chlorine in the pool. We still use disposables for regular diapers.
