My little peanut Alex is such a happy girl. She's always smiling and talking. She's doing so well sleeping in her crib. We've gotten a couple 10-12 hour stretches out of her so far. Occasionally she'll wake up in the middle of the night and want something to eat, but she goes right back down afterwards. She's also my little burrito. This child LOVES to be swaddled at bedtime. Olivia hated it. She'd be like Hudini and break free everytime I'd swaddle her. Alex just loves it though. She sleeps better when she's a burrito baby. Wonder how that will go when we have to transition her OUT of the swaddle.
No well-baby check up this month. She'll go at 4 months. She does however have yet another ultrasound on her hip and an appointment with the ortho doctor on Monday. I HOPE we can ditch this brace. She hates it. After a month, she still won't sleep in it and pretty much just hates being in it while she's awake. If he says she needs it another month, I'm going to ask for some other type of brace or SOMETHING. This thing is terrible. :(
As far as her height and weight, I'm gonna guess and say she's about 24" and 11+lbs. I put her in a 6 month outfit for pictures, I didn't think it would fit, but it did. Granted, it's still big, but it didn't look silly on her.
My friend Roxanne came over and photographed both girls for Easter and Alex's 3 month pictures. Here are some of the ones that turned out super cute.
If you're in the Pittsburgh area, she's really great to work with and reasonable. Plus all these pictures where taken in the comfort of my own home. :)
